The Department of Business Communications of the University trains bachelors in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education in the field of study 42.03.01 “Advertising and Public Relations”. After successfully passing the state final examination, students are issued a state bachelor's degree. Students liable for military service are granted a deferment from the army. The educational program is implemented in full-time and part-time forms of study. Part-time form of study is implemented using distance technologies.

The Department of Business Communications provides training for specialists who are able to create and maintain an image and business reputation, organize and conduct advertising and PR campaigns, interact with the media, conduct sociological and marketing research, develop and implement a communication strategy in government agencies, commercial and non-profit organizations, in mass media. Graduates of the program “Advertising and Public Relations” can find themselves in different fields. This may be an activity related to the promotion of companies, increasing their competitiveness, it may be an advertising niche. The competence of such a specialist is to provide all types of communication links.
Examination periods - 2 times a year: in autumn and spring (4 weeks installation session + 2 weeks examination period)

In the direction of training 42.03.01 “Advertising and Public Relations” an international educational program of a double degree is also being implemented. Partner university: Hebei University, China. Upon completion of the training, the graduate receives two state diplomas: Russian and Chinese; speaks Chinese at a professional level; gaining experience of studying at a foreign university.
