Institute of Applied Psychoanalysis and Psychology

Psychological education is one of the most demanded, both on the territory of the Russian Federation and in the Eurasian space, this is precisely what determines the main goal of the department - to prepare highly qualified specialists in the field of psychology and conflictology, capable of carrying out activities not only in the territory of the Russian Federation, but also in the Eurasian space.

This goal is supported by:

• Classrooms equipped with modern technics (including a psychological laboratory, a laboratory for the study of conflicts)

• Extensive bases of practices

The Department of Psychology was formed in 2002. It included two chairs - the Chair of Psychophysiology and the Chair of Social and Applied Psychology. The founder of the department was, and is to this day, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Oleg Valentinovich Leontiev. Since 2009, the Chair of Social Psychology and Conflictology began its work. In 2017, the Department of Psychology was transformed into the Institute of Applied Psychoanalysis and Psychology, where the chairs of psychoanalysis, social psychology and conflictology work.
