The main goal of the Department of Economics and Customs is to train specialists in accordance with the requirements of federal state educational standards in specialized areas to meet the needs of the labor market in the field of economics, customs, management and business informatics.
Studying process at the department began in 1998. Since the formation of the Department, training has been carried out in the specialty “Finance and Credit”. In 2002, the first graduation of students took place at the Department.
Since 2002, the Chair of Finance and Credit, the Chair of Organization Management functioned at the Department.
Since 2008, the Chair of Mathematics and Information Technology began its work as a graduating chair in the field of study “Business Informatics”.
In connection with the beginning of training in 2011 in the specialty “Customs”, the Chair of “Customs regulation and customs affairs” was formed at the Department.
High-quality basic economic training and the use of active teaching methods focused on mastering practical skills and abilities in all areas of training provide graduates with a successful start and further career growth.
