Meeting of the Coordination Council of the Eurasian Network University

On September 11, 2024, the National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod held a meeting of the Coordination Council of the Eurasian Network University (ENU).

About 50 people: representatives of the universities participating in the ENU, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Eurasian Economic Commission and invited guests attended the event. The Chairman of the ENU Coordination Council, Rector of the University associated with IA EAEC, Irlan Zhangazyevich Iskakov opened the meeting. He delivered a welcoming speech and wished the participants fruitful work.

One of the main items on the busy agenda of the meeting was the issue of amending the Regulations on the Secretariat of the ENU. According to the new version, the Secretariat now reports directly to the Chairman of the ENU Coordination Council, the structure and staffing of the Secretariat are approved by the decision of the ENU Coordination Council at the suggestion of its Chairman, and the location of the Secretariat is determined by the address of the place of the main activity of the current Chairman of the Coordination Council. Such changes will improve the efficiency of the Consortium.

Thus, until the end of 2024, the ENU Secretariat will be located at the University associated with IA EAEC, and the Head of the Secretariat will be the First Vice-Rector of the University - Elena Evgenevna Lanina.

In addition to issues on amending the Regulation on the Secretariat, the meeting also discussed the results of the first Eurasian Olympiad - the International Student Olympiad of the ENU, issues on the entry of new participants into the ENU, the development plan for the Network University for the 2024-2025 academic year, and a number of others.
