Students of the Institute of Applied Psychoanalysis and Psychology laid flowers on the grave of Ivan Petrovich Pavlov

26.09.2024

The Institute of Applied Psychoanalysis and Psychology has a tradition: the Director of the Institute, Professor Oleg Valentinovich Leontev, leads first-year students to lay flowers on the grave of Ivan Petrovich Pavlov, the first Russian Nobel laureate, the founder of the science of higher nervous activity, on the scientist’s birthday, September 26.

This tradition instills in the minds of future psychologists the understanding that the science they are just beginning to study is the work of many people whose names and works have changed the understanding of the world and man himself. And students do not only study psychological disciplines, they continue the life's work of their predecessors.

Sincerely, Institute of Applied Psychoanalysis and Psychology
